It is the policy of Caliban Computing to respect your privacy.  We consider all individually recognizable information you may provide us to be confidential in nature and will not make it available to any third party.  The information we may collect via this Internet site and its uses are outlined below:

  1. Personal billing information: Our partnerships with Digital River/RegNow and PayPal frees Caliban Computing from dealing with, or even seeing, your credit card billing information. Your name and address are used by us only to process your on-line order and to maintain our customer records.
  2. Email Addresses: We maintain an internal email list of all persons who have had email correspondence or placed orders with us.  This list is for internal use only and will not be sold, conveyed or given to any party outside of Caliban Computing.  Further, we do not purchase any outside email listings nor do we exchange email lists with any other company other than wholly owned subsidiary companies. We use an opt-in email mailing list. We may invite you to join as a part of any email correspondence with you but you are never under any obligation to join our list and may remove yourself from it at any time.  It is not our intention to annoy you with unsolicited email, we merely use it to draw attention to changes in our web site or product offerings.
  3. Consulting/Development Proposals: Any information submitted to Caliban Computing via this web site, email, fax or telephone that is directly related to potentially establishing a software development relationship will be held in reasonable confidence. Think of this as a "handshake agreement" to maintain confidentiality prior to the establishment of a formal business relationship.
  4. Caliban Mailer 2.30 does not contain any form of "adware" or "spyware".

Caliban Computing reserves the right to change this policy at any time. If we decide to change this policy, we will post changes as soon as they go into effect

Should you have any questions or concerns regarding this privacy statement or any other aspect of doing business with Caliban Computing, please feel free to contact us.
